Golden Years

Volunteer Program

Because many people are living longer and more active lives there is a wonderful opportunity for semi-retired individuals/couples to serve the Lord in retireme

nt instead of just drifting into the sunset. The cost of living in Thailand is relatively low which allows many retiree’s to live comfortably on their pension. Th

ailand has excellent medical facilities and is a major medical tourism destination. The semi-retired have a wealth of experience that can be of tremendous benefit to the missionary on the field.

Who Can Participate?

  • Semi-retired/retired persons who have good general health and have a pension and/or personal support sufficient to provide for their personal living costs in Thailand.
  • A willingness to learn the Thai language
  • Willing to help in many different areas of ministry such as building maintenance, teaching English, school ministries (elementary to college), teaching Sunday School, etc… (ministry would of course depend on the ability and interests of the individual).
